NCIA'S DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOR THE NORTHEAST CANNABIS BUSINESS CONFERENCE IS NOW OPEN!


NCIA is pleased to offer 30 scholarships for free registration (valued at up to $845) to NCIA’s 1st Northeast Cannabis Business Conference (formerly Seed to Sale Show) February 19-20, 2020, in Boston, MA. 


The scholarship is intended for aspiring entrepreneurs from communities most impacted by marijuana prohibition. 


Applicants must:
 

  • Be currently employed as a mid-to-senior level industry professional OR as a cannabis-related business CEO or founder for at least one (1) year OR be currently applying for or in possession of a social equity license. 
  • Have demonstrated professional, advocacy, or civic/community leadership experience
  • Be committed to fully engage in all scholarship benefits 
  • Have a demonstrable need for financial assistance to attend the Northeast Cannabis Business Conference 


Up to 30 scholarships will be granted to the highest-scoring applicants, as determined by members of NCIAʻs Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.


Applications are due by Midnight PST, December 1, 2019. Awardees will be notified on December 16, 2019. Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary passes to the conference. Scholarship recipients will need to cover & arrange their own travel and lodging needed to attend the event.
